THIS IS NOT A TRICK QUESTION. YOU MUST TAKE THE FINANCIAL DATA AND INTERPRET IT FROM A FINANCIAL PERSPECTIVE IN PLAIN ENGLISH.

I have a quick question for chapter 7. The question ask us to explain the impact of opening a 401(k)versus a non 401(k) savings instrument? Is there a specific non 401(k) savings instrument that we should be using to answer the question; in addition to such, as far as the spreadsheet what should be included?
ReplyDelete@ Chante, you're essentially using the formula provided in the PDF that was attached in the final. Meaning, you're comparing a 401(k) against no 401K.
ReplyDeleteCan you clarify how to depict the % of sales when the financials provided on Google finance do not offer an indication of 1) sales 2) inventory as provided in the examples in the book?
ReplyDeleteMs.Nicole. As you are comparing one year with the prior year, that would show a percentage increase for SALES and INVENTORY from 2009 to 2008.
